SYNOPSIS
High pressure over the Western Atlantic remains in place east of Florida through late week, yielding gentle to moderate south to southeasterly breezes and subsiding seas. The high pressure axis settles toward South Florida by the weekend as a cold front slowly sags into the Southeast U.S., arriving at the local Atlantic waters Monday with scattered showers and isolated lightning storms preceding it.
