Alpine was NEVER one of the largest clearing firms. Don't confuse FINRA or a PR release with being true. Just look up their financials. in terms of AUM, number of correspondents, MM, and more, In fact Alps has had one (1) MM for last 6 years now...do you really think 'one of the largest clearing firms" could function with one single guy ? LOL... you and others are clueless. Sadly though, its all public info... just look it up rather than spin yarns about a single market maker shorting '500 million shares of GTII" ...along with your "Darkpools"...do tell how they would enter that order since they don't have an electronic system? Yup, all orders are called in like the good ol days...One of the largest clearing firms has no platform to trade! THINK...stop playing tit fo tat and losing, THINK.. they have never een been in the top 20 of clearing firms..
