I thought - I thought I read - this is on a refi only --- so the major "search" is done

(Brother used to be a Title Insurance AGENCY repping 3-4 companies --- and he and his people did the RESEACH (early computers - around but most stuff not digitized). This is where you might find a transfer of ownership 2 owners ago that is not kosher by law
