I'm glad you didn't make the mistake of taking anything Rodney says at face value. He's just frothing at the mouth again, this time with a heaping helping of the ad hominem logical fallacy.

I did open a short position in FNMA on December 11 2023, and then 11 days later I has covered that short.

My long-term view on the commons vis a vis the juniors has been bearish for years (and still is), but shorting the common as anything more than a short to medium-term pair trade is something I wouldn't advise at all.
