Now for a look at Republicans compared with the past

It's contradictory of you to whine about progressives today on one hand and post that they aren't as active as
they once were on the other, while on your third hand ignoring the most obstructive party in history in opposition.

I'm personally less concerned about wherever the hell her kitchen is than I am about the outright lie she told about a rape victim trying to score political points and getting people like you all frothed up because you believe everything that they tell you and call it proof...

So enjoy your mockery, when mockery and bad jokes have been nearly a whole focus of modern dems, keeping alive racism as if the country hasn't made progress beyond our wildest dreams in comparison to the past..

I beg your pardon? MOCKERY is keeping RACISM alive? That is as ridiculous a statement as any made by Katie Britt last night.

May remember Kennedy in his Moon speech, "We do these things because they are hard" and that's how America became great...

Yes, some of us do remember it. He actually said:

We choose to go to the Moon. We choose to go to the Moon... We choose to go to the Moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard..." And by then, America was already great. As it still is today, though Trumpty has done, and will do his best to end that.

The article about the history of the progressive movement was excellent, but I do not entirely agree. Whatever "movement" Reagan was supposed to have championed was in considerable part damaging to this country in precisely the ways you find objectionable. He helped accelerate and institutionalize income inequality, for one.

None of this makes it wrong to mock Katie Britt. In fact, it's something on which Dems and Republicans have found common ground.
