Why such small amounts so close together? That is weird right? They need a lot of money and soon. Overhead costs are 200k a week so this just seems like keeping the lights on money, nothing to advance the fs or project in a meaningful way.
3 possibilities that I can think of.
- with the share price so near the floor $2.14 Yorkville is only willing to sell a small number of shares. Share price is slightly higher this week than last so more shares to sell.
- Yorkville is still the only option but Niocorp hopes impending news will lift the share price and help lessen dilution for the next, larger, purchase.
- other financing is coming soon and they want to use Yorkville as little as possible. But Mark's fundraising trip to Belgium isn't until April right?
