drugmanrx, it appears your main objection to the PR was this sentence:

The FCC has finally taken notice of the groundwork laid by space communications pioneers, such as Elon Musk’s Starlink, Jeff Bezos’ Project Kuiper, Globalstar and Digital Locations

Obviously, Digital Locations isn't known by the public, but we cannot say that their work - even if it is of a theoretical nature - has not been noticed by the FCC.

Digital Location is a member of the Satellite Industry Association (SIA). . According to the PR below: "Since 1995, SIA has advocated on behalf of the commercial U.S. satellite industry on policy, regulatory, and legislative issues affecting the satellite business."

Here is the membership list - it's not a gigantic number of companies. You can see Digital Locations listed toward the bottom. https://sia.org/about-sia/sia-members-list/

The affiliate members are allowed participation at SIA meetings and events per https://sia.org/membership/membership-applications/

So...Through SIA it may well be that the FCC has noticed something that Digital Locations is doing.

The Company joins a leading group of participants in the U.S. satellite industry
SANTA BARBARA, CA, June 27, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Digital Locations, Inc. (DLOC), the developer of a disruptive technology that will deliver high-speed Internet from satellites directly to smartphones all over the world, today announced that it has been accepted as member of the Satellite Industry Association (SIA) which represents a leading group of participants in the U.S. satellite industry.

The Satellite Industry Association (SIA) is a United States-based trade association providing representation of the leading domestic satellite operators, service providers, manufacturers, launch services providers, and ground equipment suppliers.
