Well plugger...I said i was headed out the door but i had to come back just to make a short comment on your post here....and i know that you know this but just to "remind" you...you said...
"I flipped my Bible open and it opened to the very beginning of Hebrews, now I have been through Hebrews several times, but this trip in Hebrews is like all things are new---I been 3 days, approximately 2 to 3 hours each day, and now am only at chap. 5. Like I said I have gone through Hebrews several times, now I am learning I never knew or really understood much.
So...as We know...the word of God is living and active...infallible...zero grey areas...so...i believe...a passage speaks to us one way today...then... God may speak to us thru that same passage next week...next month...next year...in a totally different way concerning our life and what we are going thru at that time...now...of course...Gods word never contradicts itself...its just that the God spoken and breathed word of God is living and active and thru the power of the Holy Spirit living in us...what we read and hear today can come in a totally different context to apply to us individually the next time...not that we didnt understand before...God is just speaking to us in a different way this time...Right? What a mighty and loving God we serve...
And as far as you saying about you being a little thick upstairs...well...if EVERYONE would just embrace it and be honest about it...in our own way we are all a little thick upstairs...you my friend are well versed in the Word and at 80 years young...much wisdom to share with others!
