we had amatuers running everything previously...we have hired a well known materials expert, 2 experts in sericulture, 2 experts from India qualified to build and operate sericulture facilities as well as cultivate and breed worms...we also hired sevarl scientists from Notre Dame when Frazier retired and that program was terminated...
the changes that have been made to the protocols and proceedures at the michigan lab, GSS and Prodigy have been profound...a December test run produced 25 kilos of superior quality DS that kim stated proved the production capabilities....a new improved and more robust worm based on DS called Bam1 has been developed and is in trials right now...
Lam Dong opened it doors to kblb and we now have a large facility there capable of production and "will also serve as the distribution and collection hub for the resulting recombinant spider silk fibers, yarns, and fabrics."...kblb has signed an MOU with LAREC and VSA...
kim has begun putting pr's out almost every week...hes making all the right moves and hiring all he right people and its all working as it should...the pr's from Dec to now pretty much tell the whole story...
imo, everything shareholders hoped would happen for the last 13 years, is finally happening...Bam1 will be tested at the new Lam Dong facility...but it is believed that GSS has been in production of DS ever since Dec when they did the test run of those 25 kilos...some believe we are due for a pr about production soon...
it appears to me that we have new investors buying in that are driving the pps higher...normally we have 50 or less trades per day...today there were over 200...with 3 mil shares traded...and closed at the high of the day with a 100k share buy...for a 19% rise...on a friday with a 3 day weekend coming up...that aint normal...that is people wanting in...
so far the pr's have been decent and frequent but not universally regardged as huge...i think huge news is coming...
i also think that kim is managing the pr's and hes doing a good job of it...hes wants the pps to rise up and take off with huge news from a higher pps....when we were still stumbling around, kim didnt care about the pps...he just said it will do what it will do...i believe he knows success is imminent and he is actively managing the pr's for maximum pps benefit...
