Agree on both counts, super good article in which he mentioned the psychological projection Republicans use. How often have we pointed out to visiting trolls who accuse us of everything their own conservatives do. Weaponization is the name of one of the Republican games at the moment. Earlier their culture war creator Rufo weaponized created "woke" to cover everything Democrats did which in any way at all bothered conservative comfort blankets. Now they weaponize everything.

As you say they have religion, with American pastors recruited to help Trump spread his worst propagandist lies:
