I'm old, I'd be thrilled to live 20 more years. I do have friends seriously working on climate change who really surprised me with a belief that practical fusion may be closer than any of us think. I'm not suggesting that in 20 years we'll all have fusion power, but that hopefully in 20 years they'll have practical fusion reactor designs that can be used to replace most other ways of generating power at power plants. We should also have a lot more solar, wind, etc. and all these things can lead to producing hydrogen for where portable power is needed via fuel cells.
