Thank you. This is my first time having it. I did get vaccinated because I’m caretaker for a senior citizen. I miraculously managed to avoid it since 2020. Bergen Co,NJ and NYC were ground zero in the beginning. I worked every day being essential, while everyone was home. I knew 5 people that died in 1 day, 4-1-2020. 2 were customers of mine, 2 were a husband and wife who caught it from their son who was NYFD and the 5th was a teacher I had in high school. Thankfully I was able to go to work just so I could get out of the house. I’ll never forget, on a Friday night in early May 2020, I was at work late and a convoy of reefer trucks came down the highway with police escorts. This convoy was over a mile long. They were filled with dead bodies. They waited to do it in the middle of the night so as to not freak people out. This virus is no joke. I’m very thankful to have gotten the virus now vs 2020. It was much stronger in the beginning and I had the vaccine that I’m assuming did something.

The rest of the country had no idea how bad things were here.

I remember leaving work one night to drive up to see if Elite was open, back in April 2020. There was a curfew, nobody was allowed on the roads. I got stopped in Northvale, a few blocks from Elite. I showed my business card and I was let go. Those were very dark days, horrible time to be in North Jersey and NYC. I pulled up to Elite and it was dark. I remember sitting there a moment in my car, imagining the days coming that we are headed into now. It’s been a long wait, and we all deserve it. I can’t believe it’s finally happening.

I have bad mouthed nasrat as well, believe me, I mother f-ed him up and down. Well, I was wrong, and I owe everything I make here to him. Thank God he had the insight and balls to lead this company through this. Elite could have easily gone BK like all the other companies that went after abuse deterrent opioids. At this point, we are all in his hands and we have to have faith. He has indeed proven himself and great things are to come.
