Again, I never had to deal with shit in my life, your uncle being pulled out of Class to work on the A bomb means he had a role that he played in something that again someone else actually had to make a decision to be used to destroy life.

As for the Vietnam war, that is a horror of my generation, I never saw shit, and I did my very best not to see shit and I still hate myself for being smart enough to get out of it, while so many friends ended up going.

You take a stand on something but always think that's the answer. The Vietnam war was more than 50 years ago, but each day I get a memory when a friend passes, or a new neighbor moves in, and I learn that he was a Marine who served in Vietnam 1966-67 and wears his Marine shirt each day. I carry the burden that he served and saw things that I did not want to see.

Maybe you should have gone to Gaza, sat in the middle of the city, sat down with something to drink and endured those bombs going off all around you. Maybe do that day after day for a few months and then come back and tell us maybe Israel could find a better way to take out its aggression on Hamas.I guarnatee you your perspective on everything would change.
