I'm sure the Chinese mundane cocoons are as large or larger than the ones KBLB has produced so far.

Based on what? Your intuition?

"I'm sure" feels a little thin. Care to provide anything more to back it up?

Right now we have Vietnam signing an MOU with KBLB because KBLB is offering something that is at best the same size and more expensive. That's the logic being applied?

Certainly makes sense

“Makes more sense to convert the farmers to DS and provide them free eggs in exchange for an agreed upon price for the DS silk in return.”

No clue what they pay for Chinese eggs now or why the government wouldn’t subsidize to buy better mundane eggs from prodigy. They’re smart enough to figure out if it’s worth it.

I’d just as soon have every mundane silk farmer switch to DS globally. But since I’m sure there will still be a market for mundane silk, it would be nice to get a piece of that pie too.

Sounds logical to me. As long as they’ve figured out the genetic drifting problem which Kim specifically talked about at the shareholders meeting among a small crowd of about 10 people in the conference room after all the speeches were done.

"If you're thinking KBLB is going to compete against China in the mundane silkworm egg market and going to make money doing it you are wrong."

it wont be much of a competition...its been well known that China doesnt send its best silkworm eggs to Vietnam...China keeps the best for themselves and sends crap to Vietnam....thats why Vietnam is willing to have kblb sign with them...CLEARLY they are impressed with what kblb has been able to accomplish and want to do business with them and shitcan the Chinese...

China hasnt done well by Vietnam but Vietnam didnt have any other options...they do now...and they will gladly go with kblb...

you keep failing to look at the big picture...you keep wanting to compartmentalize everything as if thats all that is involved...its not just the eggs and price...its also about kicking China to the curb...
