Proven PEM electrolyzer!

The electrolysis system was operated at maximum production capacity too, achieving higher results than as on land.

The system also proved to be capable of handling extreme conditions for platform movement management and environmental stress, confronting five storms, including storm Ciaran.

Sealhyfe is designed to be unmanned and autonomous, safely operating 20km out at sea in even harsh conditions.

EDPR agrees to supply renewable electricity to Lhyfe’s hydrogen projects
By Edward Laity on Jan 25, 2024

Lhyfe has signed a 15-year renewable electricity supply contract with EDP Renewables (EDPR) to support its hydrogen generation projects.

Under the Corporate Power Purchase Agreement (CPPA), Lhyfe will buy renewable energy generated by a 39MWac (55MWp) solar project in Germany, expected to be connected to the grid during 2025. EDPR will develop the project through Kronos Solar EDPR.
The CPPA will allow Lhyfe to further reinforce its European network of electricity supplier partners, after the signing of two other CPPAs in 2023. In Baden-Württemberg and in Lower Saxony, Lhyfe is building two production units representing a total capacity of eight tonnes of green hydrogen per day.
