They did not lie at all. Copied directly from Monday's PR announcing the deal: "The two companies expect to finalize and close the acquisition agreement within the next 60 days".
The 8k gives them until April 30th as a deadline, but they "expect" within 60 days per the PR.
The DD is complete, negotiations are complete, the agreement is in place, IQST even paid a 1.5M deposit already. Now they have to execute the remaining terms of the agreement like IQST paying the rest of the price etc.
