Think for a minute of a normal close marriage, a husband who also cared about the mom-in-law wouldn't be seen an arms length from his wife if her Mom died and he would be there for support at all times.
He may have already told her he's taking off for his campaign and was going to say goodbye or something and she said 'have fun' get lost, or at least wasn't going to let him touch her. Would be interested how they sat in church and such. But not that interested.
I think the video would have been much more interesting if she came out of the car, pushed him to the ground and twisted a high heeled foot into his nuts.
