I know I might be Chief dark Cloud here but we've seen that before and thought the same before. Until there are Congressional Hearings with titles like "Releasing the GSEs from Conservatorship," it's just noise.

Taking the GSES out of the conservatorships will enhance their responsiveness to the needs of the Primary Mortgage Market and add stability and predictability.
