That's the way I would read it - just like the common securitization platform. They will continue to extract value from these companies and execute Wall Street fellow traveler giveaways as long as they able to get away with it. The court system is too bamboozled to take that into any of their previous calcuations and decisions and by the time they realize they've been had it will take another 10-year litigation for us to realize any compensation from the damage. All under the guise of HERA and "saving" the economy. "Never let a crisis go to waste" goes all the way back to at least Machiavelli. I'm sure he followed some older ancient proverb, but this whole GSE saga is the quintessential Machiavellian act.
