I remember that Sunday afternoon like it was yesterday. I was watching it with my father (who was not a sports fan but loved when the cowboys lost 😂)
They turned the ball over 6 god damned times, yet saved the best for last.

I was sure that super Joe was throwing the ball away, as did Everson Walls, but that was not the end of it.
When Danny "twinkle toes" White hit Pearson down the middle i just saw the end zone until that SOB Eric Wright did the then legal horse collar tackle and the rest is history.

Of course till this day i fail to understand why on the very next play "twinkle toes" was under center instead of the shotgun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Would have made all the difference imho 🤔
