Bullshit, that's the default response from the poorly educated. There is ALWAYS some f'ing boogeyman behind whatever you disagree with.

Is Donald Trump the second worst president in US history?

Prior to January 6th and its lead up, Trump was already rated among the worst Presidents in US history by both Democratic and Republican political historians.

Ranking US presidents

Note that Trump is one of the more broadly divisive Presidents in terms per perception. That said, even Republican political historians ranked him incredibly poorly, in the bottom five.

But then, there has been the last two months of incessant, baseless claims of fraud, the 60 odd specious court cases which have been thrown out, the active incitement of insurrection and the whipping up an armed mob to lynch the Vice President and invade the Capitol building and halt the peaceful transition of power.

Actual political historians tend to be thoughtful, knowledgeable and educated. As a result, I expect that when this ranking is updated, Trump will be in the bottom two.

What do you think of "Historians rank Trump near the bottom of U.S. presidents as Obama rises into the top 10"? Why?
Obama and Trump are opposites in many respects. Obama is competent, generous, and kind. Trump is inept, selfish, and hateful.
