We have been over this topic so many times. The person who thinks this forum is always one sided is basically correct. Once again you pointed out the United States Code on Immigrants arriving here at the border or coming into this country. by some other means.

The law is simple, it has been in existence for decades. I remember when New York City was the gateway for immigrants coming to America. America then had Ellis Island, and those immigrants were processed there and allowed to stay in America.

https://www.numbersusa.com/news/dhs-finally-reports-2022s-record-number-visa-overstays

We could all explain the issues facing America when it comes to immigration. Unfortunately, it starts with the House, with the presentation of a bill to address those concerns. Then it is debated in a committee with specific recommendations. The Republicans control the House, but they do not want to address the issue. They much rather just use it as a political point.

Until the law is changed, all of those immigrants can just keep on coming, and if someone doesn't like it, that is their problem.

I said it’s the folks not filling out any documentation thst are coming here that no one knows who they are or from where that came. Asylum seekers who fill out proper documentation are fine and wait for their hearing to see the results of the request. Thousands have come across the border with no visa and no asylum documents and are free within our Country now last estimate I heard was 200K months ago now so back then and now it is surely much higher. No kidding Asylum is legal yes if you fill out the correct USCIS form I-589.

It’s thise hear now that have done neither..
