I've admitted before, to not fully understanding the nuts & bolts of shorting, since I have never attempted to do it.
But to my understanding, Fees are like the Express Lane, the more the interest, the higher the fee is.
So when I post fees, it's merely to show the level of interest in shorting a particular stock.
e.g. - THAR: The fee on this one has been well over 400% for a few weeks. So if my understanding is correct, that explains how shorts have been able to control the PPS of this stock, holding it in such a tight range. (Assuming that they are collecting shares as folks grow tired and sell in this range.)
Remember, their Nov. Offering was at $1, and they have mostly been able to hold it very near the .50 range.
Feel free to correct me if these assumptions are incorrect.
