That was I guess prior to our $30 Trillion Dollar debt amount of today. As of today our Country should be cutting spending not increasing spending and ending all foreign aid which Countries who have sucked on that test since WWII need to finally be on their own feet and fend for themselves already. Giving is a great thing when you have the money to do so after all your own bills are paid. Not until then. Go out and buy a bunch of credit cards without any money in the bank and see how quickly you go down. I do not disagree with anything you said from History. Those days are long gone and we are for the sake of a better term bankrupt right now. So we should not be throwing our money around or paying for services that do not benefit legal American citizens, period. You see I love this Country to and want us to help others when we ourselves are out of debt, not put further into debt by giving away our money.
