Schwab did that to me also. I will be transferring my money over to E*TRADE when I can free up my funds. I was able to buy shares with E*TRADE the min. I transferred money from my bank account.

I would upload money from my bank one day, then trade the next day with TDA. Worst thing ever to have to deal with Schwab. Their website and online app suck as well.

Placing multiple overlapping deposits in short term cd's or short term treasuries is a violation of federal banking laws. If caught they have to disperse the interest to all the owners of the funds.
