We can only speculate but I do know at least partly related to shorts and bears trying to bash it back down after a 30% gain in less than a week. They missed on Revenue but they beat on earnings. Tons of great reasons to invest in the company and only one reason to short. Shorts are speculating the volatility is going to continue. Nothing bad was revealed today. Revenue mist in 1/4 but revenue is expected to jump in Q2 if you listen to the call. Many people not following the company may also believe that the share price went up partly related to people expecting better earnings. So why should it be up 30% with a questionable earnings? Why is it still well over the recent support level of $1.20 Should be the question? Depends on your prerogative and how you interpret things and whether or not you're looking at the future. Stock share price is always about the future. Knee-jerk reactions are related to today. They also should be announcing if they were accurate, commercial operation of Derby 2 within the next two weeks. And I'm crossing my fingers about Groton, because that TIP is supposed to be complete by the end of the year. That will add another 1.4 megawatts to the generation portfolio and completely satisfy the EDC and the Navy.

The answer is in the report and the expectations. Multiple decades of continuous losses with no assurance that won't continue.
The analyst of repute had it tight. The promoters are now looking for reasons to excuse the report. They can run but they can't hide. Its all in the report.
No one should be fooled by the happy talk. It's worthles and if followed, always wrong.
Yesterdays news with Exxon, while positive, was far from a game changer. It's a trial and doesn't add to revenue. Exxon is willing to let FCEL run with it. But it says they still must prove the concept before Exxon gets aggressive with them.
Stay far away from theHOGWASH BS. Too often was the infor flawed and unfulfilled.
Garbage in; garbage out.
