You are not on record if your shares are held by a broker like E-Trade or Schwab. ect. Purchasing through the company or transfer agent of the stock puts you on record.

What is considered a shareholder of record?
A stockholder of record holds stock in a direct relationship with the company and has direct title to the shares, as opposed to a beneficial owner that owns stock indirectly through a broker, dealer, bank or other entity.

Seriously? Only 11 shareholders?! I only have 100,000 and try to buy a little bit each week…but there can’t only be 10 others!
