We are now two NEXT WEEKS into December with, can you believe, 2024 knocking on the door!
Hate to state the obvious ... but every time we've had a buildup of "big news coming" over the last two years, it has always fizzled out with delays then just disappeared. Remember when the closing got the (barely) last position, honorable mention a few updates ago? This easily could go into spring then summer again. (My infamous "gall" post was from June-2022!)
Same pattern we have seen for the last ten years. Projects get hyped, attempted, fail, then fade. I hope and don't think that will happen here, of course based on the "come hell or high water" statement, but fool me once shame on you, fool me six times and I'm a masochist.
I really hope we at least get the courtesy of another update before the end of the year but I'm pretty sure we all know what it's going to say ... "as soon as all parties return from the holidays, we expect to close immediately once the few remaining issues are resolved". "Remaining issues" being someone with money releasing funds.
Keep in mind, there still aren't any permits for the lots and you think Currier has a whole crew just waiting to break open the gates as soon as this is signed? We are a long way from anywhere but moving in circles so never lost!
