Pretty light on the details. A "majority" is as little as 50% plus one.



She or they the company, can only say what they are told by Anderson Cancer, they are doing the study... in a Blind trial, no matter what the drug or who is doing it, the company is never given any actual numbers or in this case percentages. They do this so as not to allow anyone to use that information to buy or sell stock. It is kept generic for that reason. So yes it could be 51 percent, but remember we have no way of knowing what the split was when they started the trial. So was it 50% got a placebo and 50% got a crofilomer pill? I doubt that, the study is to see if it works so the split is most likely 70% got the meds and 30% got the placebo. FDA wants a large number of people who tried the drug to see if it works...they dont really care about a placebo as they know it does not work.
