10,000 auditors will be added over 10 years ----- none armed

and despite what Yellen and Biden say - they will audit people earning under 400,000 to some degree as that is the VAST VAST VAST majority of people. the big increase in focus - effort will be on those earning over 1Mn. As noted - just 13 years ago 20% of those earning 1Mn a year (not worth 1Mn) got audited. Now that is 4%. That is dumb - it should be 30% --- as that is where money can be hidden (not reported as wages ) and where the avoided tax is at 35% or whatever and its big big big money
