#129198 RE: Vick Lagina #129194

Well, there are a lot of companies trying a Web3/Blockchain approach for a next generation social media company, but HPNN seems to have an additional specific focus on Digital Rights Management, protecting the rights of the creator/influencer. There are a lot of disgruntled influencers from other platforms who have had their revenue cut, or taken away altogether if they got kicked off of a platform.

HPNN is taking a unique approach here. If they can track the ownership of uploaded videos, songs, photographs, literary works, podcasts, etc., it should make it much easier for the artist/influencer to get their fair share of income if someone else uses their work elsewhere. That would be quite the incentive for creators if the Digitalage platform attracts a large following.

As an example, if I had very few followers on a social media site, and then posted a cool video that had little traction because algorithms didn't prioritize my channel, then I could expect to make barely a nickel from it. But if a well-established influencer made a video of my video and posted it on their channel, they might rake it in simply because of their large follower base that might watch it.

It sounds like a ton of work for HPNN to get to where they want to go, so it makes sense that it has taken a long time to get the platform off the ground. Even now, they are just relaunching the beta version to invite-only parties, so maybe it's not until Q1 until they can launch to the general public.

I at least like what they are trying to do; it doesn't guarantee success but at least they are going to make a run at it. It's a high risk/high reward play from my perspective and that's the kind of OTC lotto ticket that I like the most. Just my opinion. Hope everyone does their own due diligence. Not investment advice.
