I agree there is plenty of room for defining "performance" and "wattage". I am not sure i understand what you mean by "wall wattage". Could you elaborate on it?

Re: You forget that Intel numbers are the average numbers not maximum. When Intel says 50W it doesn't 50 is the max.

Gee, I guess that explains how AMD processors with the same 65W TDP rating as Intel end up dissipating not less, but MORE power under load.
