Even IF gooberment excersized warrants ( highly unlikely they do ) we still have a $300 share company with 8B shares outstanding. See Microsoft has similar share structure as do a bunch of others.

NO WORRIES here but one would think after 15yrs + they would have excersized the warrants by now.

As each and every minute the warrants go unexcersized this works in the favour of shareholders.

I've laid out what the Warrant was meant to do, according to what is written in the prospectus. Related to a Housing Finance System revamp through the assault on the ownership of FnF by Wall Street and the Community Banks, paying nothing.
Just read it and don't ask why.

Why would the government give up on up to $100 billion?

Therefore, it was not related to making profits with $100 billion to fund the government.
Then, there is what is authorized in the law that you skip: A collateral. It should have been canceled long time ago. Or not issued in the first place, if it's barred in the Charter's Fee Limitation.
Quit giving the Warrant any glimpse of valid security to purchase stocks at $0.00001 and then, resell for $100 billion.
It wouldn't make it to a movie. So gross!

How many times do you have to be told that the warrants will be cancelled? FnF have paid what they owe the taxpayers, constitutionally the government can’t be in the profit business its called a Takings.
