How in heck does the company have the money to take the company private?? Well wait a second now.....this may be an interesting proposition.
Insiders create lots more stock which they sell into the market, thus diluting and taking down the share price, then buying up the company??
Well the issue I see here is they'd have to buy back all those additionally issued shares as well, so that doesn't really help them.
I honestly though still can't figure out if they are required to share any gains from lawsuits with shareholders? It's not earnings. They aren't allowed to disclose sums from settlement. I need to talk with some of my corporate CPA buddies to see how they can label the funds to reward themselves further.
Pay the lawyers excessive fees, then have lawyers kickback rebate to company or officers separately? Just thinking outside the box here.
I can't imagine class action lawsuit wouldn't follow.
