Tim Loposer has had a long and successful career in the energy industry. Tim began their career in 1980 as an Area Land Manager and Gas Sales Representative with Texas Oil & Gas Corp. in Dallas, TX and Denver, CO. In 1989, they moved to Williams Energy Marketing & Trading Europe and held the roles of President and Vice President until 2003. Tim then joined Shell Energy North America in 2004 as Vice President, where they led the effort in developing and closing major structured energy transactions in the U.S. gas and power sector. In 2010, Tim joined NextEra Energy Resources as Senior Director, where they identified, negotiated, and closed oil and gas production and developmental transactions. From 2013 to 2015, they were Managing Director at KLR Group, LLC, where they advised and supported various energy clients on growth opportunities, joint ventures, and financing arrangements. From 2015 to 2019, Tim was Managing Director at Seaport Global Securities, where they were responsible for identifying, negotiating, and closing transactions related to debt, equity, acquisitions and divestitures, joint ventures, advisory and restructuring. Tim then joined ETX Energy, LLC in 2019 as Vice President of Business Development, where they closed two major transactions within the first 12 months of joining, effectively doubling the size of the company. Most recently, Tim has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Screaming Eagle Energy in 2022.
