Earnings come after R&D expense. You really don't know anything. Lol

Earnings are what is taxed. R&D expenses aren't taxed. This is basic stuff tho. Kinda scary you dont know this tho.

You kind of exposed yourself here which funny.

Google Earnings R&D expenses and this comes up..

R&D refers to the work a business conducts toward the innovation, introduction, and improvement of its products and procedures. Price-to-innovation-adjusted earnings is calculated by adding any expenditure on R&D back to earnings and then calculating the P/E ratio for that company.

R&D is a voluntary expense for future growth.

It's nothing like rent, utilities, payroll, taxes, etc.

Elite could cut all R&D right now, which means they would also cut 5-10 employees, which means they would be very profitable, as opposed to just "barely" profitable.

Earnings include R&D. As of today they are profitable, but barely. They will continue to invest in R&D.
