Everyone has an opinion, many have their own values, others do not give a shit. Then there is this new breed of Republicans who live in their own reality. But you want everyone to be accountable when you see an atrocity. The struggle of mankind is littered with the 100s of millions who have died through the centuries. Life is getting better, the trick is to watch your back.

I am special, my wife, children and friends concur, bit after that I do not give a shit. I have learned that most people think they are always special, but they never really make a difference.

brooklyn13, Looks this article is crying out for a new section from you: Allegations of apartheid by country
China .. Iran .. Israel .. Malaysia .. Myanmar .. North Korea .. Nigeria .. Qatar ..
Saudi Arabia .. South Africa .. Sudan .. United States
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allegations_of_apartheid_by_country#Israel

You could argue Australia should be included. Then again perhaps the contributors don't understand what Apartheid stands for as well as you believe you do.

Apartheid (/?'p??rt(h)a?t/, especially South African English: /?'p??rt(h)e?t/, Afrikaans: [a'part??it]; transl.?"separateness", lit.?'aparthood') was a system of institutionalised racial segregation that existed in South Africa and South West Africa (now Namibia) from 1948 to the early 1990s.[note 1] Apartheid was characterised by an authoritarian political culture based on baasskap (lit. 'boss-hood' or 'boss-ship'), which ensured that South Africa was dominated politically, socially, and economically through minoritarianism by the nation's dominant minority white population.[4] According to this system of social stratification, white citizens had the highest status, followed by Indians and Coloureds, then Black Africans.[4] The economic legacy and social effects of apartheid continue to the present day, particularly inequality.[5][6][7][better source needed]

"Exactly. So let's have some more screeds about how apartheid is evil in some places and in
other places we'll just ignore it. That doesn't make it right anywhere but consistency is nice, too.
"

You may not realize how frantically ignorant your personal agenda here is looking.

The chief logical fallacy arrows in the GOP's quiver:
Projection
Bothsidesism and its close companion, whataboutism.
