If progression in dialysis patients is prolonged (speculative, no idea) so that the mortality rate drops to 10-12% after one year that is a significant increase in dialysis patients.

NVO’s trial did not measure progression of patients already on dialysis, and I rather doubt that Ozempic enables patients to stay on dialysis longer before dying. So, the net effect of Ozempic use on dialysis utilization ought to be negative due to the incidence of “other mortality” while patients are in pre-dialysis.

If U know of a drug that might do that ...drop the mortality rate ....please advise .
I believe the Ozempic trial was with kidney disease patients ...NOT end stage renal disease ( dialysis ) patients

Maybe some readers here don't know this but once you are on dialysis you are on it for the remaining years of your " shorten'd " lifespan , unless you are lucky to get a kidney transplant.
