Curative ... seriously ? Who thinks it will be curative ? Ozempic MAY significantly slow progression in stage 4 CKD . Stage 4 is an eGFR between 29-15 .
At a GFR around 15 you are on to dialysis , been able to have a kidney transplant or have decided to chk out .
My wife runs a stage 4 CKD clinic.
IF Ozempic slows decline significantly ...and decline can be rapid at this stage because these patients usually have multiple co morbidities ..it's a big deal for the patients and the dialysis market .
How much will Ozempic slow decline ...we don't know yet , but the market at present is sell now and we
will find out later .
