Obviously I hope you are right, one far fetched idea I was thinking up is the intentional movement to the EM where shorts may have difficulty covering without solicited quotes and limited market makers.
A squeeze could be forced upon them with a merger and make it difficult to cover their HGEN shares if one does happen…
This is grasping at straws imo, but at least that would keep some sort of hope alive lol. I think if shorts were really concerned about that we would not be trading at such little volume barely holding a penny…
