seabass, there was a period after 911 that i actually thought we were in good hands...he came across very human to me when he was at the site of the rubble reassuring the nation. then it all changed and the lies and the arrogance and the deceptions became blatant. ill never forget watching the decider standing next to kofi annan and saying we gave saddam a chance to let the inspectors in and he wouldnt let them in..all this happened as the inspectors (hans blix and others) were scurrying to get out of iraq before the bombs dropped. ill also not forget the look on kofi annan's face and the outrage shown by hans blix who had access to all the places he wanted in iraq...i became a political junkie at that point... that time in 2003 was a pivotol moment in our countries history. it'll never be the same...
