I think the pipeline could hit but if it doesn’t I just hope they have the sense to stop the burn and reassess options. Then it’s a no lose at current prices

The market is thinking $ENTA will continue to fund its pipeline while also assuming the pipeline worth less than zero. Hard to understand.

Then ENTA could repurchase 100% of the shares outstanding (including all derivatives) at $20/sh and go private.



If they did this 5-6 years ago they easily could have paid $90 to $100 per share..

Repurchasing 100% of the shares and derivatives would cost half as much today as it would have earlier, but isn't that a very unlikely scenario? Why would the institutional shares be sold at today's price?

ENTA is quietly +70% since the post I’m replying to from six months ago.

Moral: A dirt-cheap valuation can be a strong catalyst in its own right.
