GCT up 14%? After such a lame response from the company?? The short report detailed many examples of possible fraud. And the company refuted NONE of them. I'm amazed the stock is up so much. Almost back to where it was before the short report! I would have guessed down at least another 10-20% today after such a weak rebuttal from the company. No clue who would buy up here. If it's a China scam, the stock will crash towards zero. Why risk it?
I'm quickly underwater on my short. Weird thing at Fidelity. The margin requirement is 999%(!). I don't remember seeing anything that high. Sometimes it's 110%, 120%, 130% etc. But 999%? Not sure what that means. But it helped me today, as I would have shorted a lot more shares.
