The main message/warning from Bradford is (and has been) that commons could get almost wiped out in a restructuring. And that's the main reason for all the attacks on him.
It would be much more appropriate to direct the aggressions at those who pull the strings in politics and the courts (instead of "shooting the messenger").
Bradford has been bearer of good news as far back as you can look.
Bradford's often misplaced "optimism" is based on FHFA and Treasury using recap/release to get him out of his badly screwed position. But that's another topic...
