A quick suggestion, I have.
Flip the ticker scroll line to the top with the top menu line and make that menu line bigger vertically so's anyone over 43 can read it from 3 feet way. With your zinc white backgrounds being further away is still better than getting monitor burns.

And switch search with the mail icon and profile pic so that everyone who was used to going to the upper left for the info doesn't get location clicker shock. You all don't have to be exactly like the other social sites.

Edit: Found it. Tom was just in Read 20, and on reading your Mailbox comment i looked for it and couldn't find it.

And out of interest (ooi) how long is this fixing going to be going on. The intermittent slowness
is deadly. I've never read so much of a newspaper while posting before. Still can't find Mailbox.

I didn't know the envelope in the upper right corner was the mailbox. I thought, at first, it was a link to send emails to the admins. I clicked on it out of curiosity and saw the mailbox. It might be better if you had the word "mailbox" somewhere on the page.

I'll have to get used to this new layout.

EDIT: In reading through other responses, some others can't find the mailbox, either. I'm guessing the mailbox function will be fixed, soon.

i have a problem seeing about 10% or more of my screen on my favorites board and i cant shrink it in to fit. no options. and the task bar at the bottom of the page does not allow me to slide the view over. i think you guys really go over board with what your doing in the name of keeping up with the jones. this use to be the best board on the internet and it was smooth. no malice intended and i have been here from the beginning before i signed up. i've seen all the changes since the beginning and to put it bluntly, we're not better than before. peace people.............and please fix my, our problem, ty and enjoy your day....

If you are going to have a persistent Cookie policy bug at the bottom of every page for those that will never accept Cookies, you will lose that privilege. Find another way!

Why can't there be a way to customize the quotes at the top?
I'm NEVER going to need to see a quote for Bitcoin. Why not make if friendly to the user, not IHUB?
Also, Favorites were always conveniently near the mailbox button. Now I have to be bouncing back and forth?
