The other authorized generic Adderall XR is Sandoz. I don’t know the numbers, but from my limited vantage point, Sandoz has a decent percentage of the market.
Prasco obtained Teva/Shire Adderall xr on 2016 according to my search. Apparently Takeda has been manufacturing the product for them. Major pharmacies did not renew their purchases in 2021 with the exception of Walmark.
It appears that the manufacturing agreement with Takeda will expire at the end of this year and Elite will become its new manufacturer of the Authorized generic of Adderall XR starting on January 1.
It may be that Prasco opted to sign with Elite since they can make the drug cheaper than competitors. Perhaps a review of TAK financials will give a clue as to their manufacturing revenue from XR.
In any event, Elite will receive revenue for the manufacture of the XR commencing next Jan.1
