starter and battery kick out - agree (although juice from alternator may circuit back through the battery to charge it)

my question amended to your answer --- aside from any other pro and con about electric v hydrogen - v diesel - v gas ----- if a gas car is grounded by the tires -- why is that not true for an electrical car? (hey - I am old enough to have "avoided" the metal "sticks" used to help park the car that REMOVED the grounding)
