It will doubtless come as a surprise to you (as you don't seem very well informed) but there have been enormous advances in treating and, yes, curing some cancers in recent decades and even in the past year or two. CAR-T among other immunotherapies springs to mind.

But I do indeed campaign vigorously against evident scams that attempt to monetise the suffering of cancer patients* and their families.
