GuanchinGuanchin - East viewCuesta de MirandaOverview
These four claims have been recently acquired from the Argentine Government. Strategic Resources plans to commence detailed radiometric ground traversing, sampling and mapping to ascertain how great the mining potential is. The claim areas all have excellent access, good support infrastructure for exploration and superior weather conditions for year-round work.

The historic uranium mines known as Don Michel, San Sebastian, La Represa, La Novedad, Falla IV, Teresita, Cristina, Doña Rosa and Adelf are all located within the claim areas.

Geological Report
The uranium mineralization is contained in the metamorphic rocks as copper-uranium in blue/green veinlets. Historic mining exploration and production works can be seen on the properties along the mineralized structures. The exploration guides are the sedimentary/metamorphic rocks of the Negro Peinado formation (Ordovicic)—these rocks are surrounded by granites from the Ñuñorco formation (Devonic).

The uranium minerals are uranofano and autunite, close to the surface, and pitchblende at depth. Previous reports indicate that mineralization is placed in lenses containing high grade (almost 10% uranium) at the core, and low grade in the outer part of the lenses (0.5%). The Company’s preliminary sampling of historic production and exploration works yielded values in the range of 1%.
