Congress won't touch this GSE mess...unless some future Administration demands legislative action which by its definition won't go anywhere because of the same GSE "shit wall" issues on which two parties can't agree.

Any GSE effort needs to be done "administratively"--by fiat skipping the Hill--by a strong White House with no doubts about its goal and strong, intelligent advocacy.
